This time, in our new blog series Food & Music, we talked to Berlin based musician Martin Bernt, who like the Hungr founder Rasmus, is originally from Denmark.

Sometimes, you want to eat your takeaway in peace or with a quiet conversation. Other times, it feels good to listen to music while you eat. But not all music is suited for eating. We asked Martin what he likes to eat and what he likes to listen to while enjoying his food.

Martin loves Asian food and ordered a thai red curry with tofu.

Enjoying his hot food, Martin selected the classic Miles Davis album ‘Kind of Blue’ as his soundtrack. It is not only regarded by many as the best jazz album ever, but it is also the best selling jazz album in history. Fans will recognize the famous bassline on the opening ‘So What’ immediately. You can listen to the album on Spotify here.

So how does Martin’s own music sound like? He just put out a new lyric video with footage from the controversial Enter The Void movie by Argentinian-French director Gasper Noe. You can listen to Martin and his band The Pool and see the video here:
